The 11th International Conference on Information Technology in Asia 2019 (CITA ‘19) is a biennial conference organised by the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FCSIT), Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). This international conference serves as a platform for people from the industry and academia, particularly researchers, engineers, experts and postgraduate students to come together to present and discuss new developments in the field of Information Technology. This year’s theme, “Trends and Future of Humanising Digital Technologies” looks at issues, challenges and potential solutions in the use of technologies to improve our daily lives. CITA ’19 will be held on 16th – 17th July 2019 in Kuching, Sarawak.

Submission Instructions

Submissions should contain original material that has not been previously published in a journal, nor is currently under review by another journal. If material in the submission was previously published in a conference paper, the new submission must:

(i) technically extend the published version by at least 35% of new material,

(ii) explicitly cite the prior conference paper, and

(iii) explain in an accompanying cover letter what has been extended in the new submission.

Papers selected for presentation will appear in the digital conference proceedings which will be indexed in the SCOPUS / ISI Conference Proceeding Citation Index. 

Submitted papers will be evaluated based on their originality, presentation, contributions, and relevance to the theme of CITA `19, and will be double blind reviewed by at least two independent experts in the field. Papers must be written in English with a minimum of 6 pages and not exceeding 10 pages (including all figures, tables and references). There are also Best Paper Awards for each track. These award winners will be selected by internationally acknowledged experts. Submissions imply that at least one of the authors has to register and present the paper at the conference if the paper is accepted.
